May not be the best quality, but definitely a good price. Great for xmas presents. I'll check it out later. Good find.

I did a quick search and found this pdf of a Nextar 7" digital frame, model N7-102. It appears to be the same model as CT is selling.
The resolution is a bit coarse at 480 x 234, but you'd really need to see it working to judge for yourself. Price is certainly good.
Here's the link to the manual so you can check out the features:

Where do I find this coupon?
I will answer my own stupid Q:
In the coupon's section of RFD website there is a link - expires October 7.

I'm picking one up this weekend.
Here's the Amazon page with a few reviews...
http://www.amazon.com/Nextar-N7-105-.../dp/B000OWLOFO
And here's a quote from one of those reviews that I found interesting.
"It has all the good features of many of the frames of this class, MPEG/AVI capable movie play, MP3 player, and of course, standard class 480x234 display."
Does that imply that it could play an AVI on an SD card...more of less act as a portable video player?

According the manual, It play MPEG1 and AVI. Manual also states not all AVI formats are supported. Since the frame doesn't even have MPEG2 decoder, I assume the only AVI it'd play is MJPEG format (commonly used by digital camera in movie mode).

Buy.com reviews - some very negative
There are reviews for this unit on Buy.com: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...326405#cRevSec
This review was pretty negative:
I bought 3 of these before Father's Day for gifts. I had already bought a different 7" frame from Sam's Club, but returned it when I saw these. Bottom line: Very disappointed!! The units turn on and run for a while and then die. Poor/cheap power switches, you really have no control over selecting which MP3 songs to play or their playing order. All three are NOT being used...what's the point, picture frames should be able to run continuously to see all the pictures right? Do yourself a favor and stay clear of these and be very skeptical about Nextar products and their quality.
But there are also a number of good reviews on Buy.com.
I reckon you can just go buy it and get a gift receipt and if the product isn't very good, simply return it.

Why the gift receipt?
Edit: Oh I got it. It's because it's a gift for xmas. I thought gift receipt might have some other advantages

I just brought mine home and plugged it in.
It has a fairly neat interface and I would recommend resizing pictures first before displaying them. It didn't like my Canon's AVI video files straight off the card my guess I will have to convert them to avi mpeg1's before they will play.
Picture quality is ok if sized properly. Not the best but good for the size and price.
FYI The $10 coupon is applied after the taxes! Bringing the price to close to 69 dollars.
Cheers
