Just wondering how the loophole is closed for Koodo? I signed up today and was able to get a MB #. Then I have to wait till after the 1st day of the billing cycle + 1 day to change. At least that's what I'm waiting for.

So are you saying that when it's time for me to change to the $48 plan, Koodo self serve won't let me?

What plan did you sign up for? If it is other than MB, then yes, you will have to call. If the rep refuses. Hang up and try another rep. And if you can, wait until you get the plan before you port your number. Your chances are better in getting MB plan if you are calling with MB #.

I haven't chosen a plan yet because the 7th is the billing cycle, so I have to wait until the 8th. Now do I tell them that I need a MB plan because I'm, say, moving to MB? I originally signed up for the ONTARIO $40 with 1gb and 1000 LD minutes. So I'm hoping that I can change the plan to whatever they have and then port my #.

Will that still work come the Thursday?

It doesn't necessarily have to be the $48 plan. Can I choose another plan and it'll still work without calling CS?

Also, if I do have to call CS with the MB#, what should I tell them when needing to choose a plan?

The plan is not listed on the self-serve anymore. You need to call in to ask then to change it for you

I see a $48 plan with 5GB + 1 GB bonus for MB now. Is it not listed for those of you with MB number anymore? That would be quite strange.

If you signed up with a MB number from the start you shouldn't have to wait to change the plan though (koodo allows one self serve change per billing cycle iirc). Is the option not there?

If this still works it is so tempting to get that extra 1 GB :)

you see that in self server? or just on Koodo MB plan website? If on Koodo MB Plan Site, everyone can see it.
but not in self server anymore, have to call in. People in Hofo called in without issue

Not in self serve because my plan now has Ontario number due to port in way back. I can only test it by either switching number or getting a new plan.

I only see it on the site as I'm not allowed to make changes yet till the 8th. I signed up initially with an ON #, then changed it to MB, so gotta wait

Okay, I ended up paying someone to do it as I kept on calling into Koodo CS and they wouldn't change it but now I have the MB plan for $48 and 6gb

How much did you pay them?
