I don't believe you can do this, no. They've cracked down pretty hard on the $48 plan.
Been running this plan for over a year now. Even the taxes they charge me is on ab not on mb!

So?

He is talking about getting the plan in the first place. It is not as easy as before now. Taxes are based on your phone number's area code.

They're not cracking down on USING the plans, if you have them already. They're cracking down on signing up for them. Right now, the only one the loophole works for still is QC (I think - I've been away for a couple weeks). Yes, you can still sign up fraudulently (using a fake address in another province) if you want, or go very YMMV and try to sweet talk a phone rep, but the legal guaranteed-to-work way not involving any fraud has been shut down for MB/SK plans.

Quebec has basically the same thing as the MB/SK plans, for regular price now... $49/5GB or $56 for 6GB. But every couple of weeks over the last few months, they've run some pretty good QC-only promos. The last one just finished, it was 6GB for $49 and 8GB for $56. Those are BYOD prices, but they were available for small and medium tab as well (so just add on $10 or $15 per month accordingly).

Looking for advice and answers!

I just VERY recently got the 5GB/$48 (Saskatchewan) plan. I called in to get the plan because like all the threads state you cannot do in the self-service I'm from Toronto and I'm just waiting to port in my Toronto number.

Has anyone else tried recently to do so? If yes, does anyone know of the consequences?

Anything helps! Thanks all.
