65" 4k HDR TV deal

My TV bit the dust and now I have to find a new one.

Today, I've seen LG 65UJ6300 for ~$1130 and a VIZIO 65" D65-E0 for $1249 on Costco.ca
I can wait for a deal, but I don't think my wife and kid can .. so I'm looking to buy something ASAP.

Anything better than the two options at 65"? and which one of the two wins out?

Thanks ..

you just missed all the sales..... I would avoid both those tvs

You also want to decide if you want real HDR or just a TV that will accept an hdr signal

As for HDR .. don't really care too much for it.
TV will be used for Netflix, Amazon, Plex .. and OTA signals .. so a tuner would be nice

Thanks

A bit above your budget but its a decent deal right now...

https://www.visions.ca/catalogue/catego ... un65mu8000

$1600 for a mid range samsung that meets all your requirements. Also pretty much only tv still at boxing week pricing. Same price at bb and 55” is only $200 cheaper (just to show how its really the only tv on sale still lol).

Cheaper alternative (was $750 when i bought it boxing day but of course everything is more expensive now)

https://www.costco.ca/Hisense-65R6107-6 ... 67139.html

Meets all your requirement but its not a popular/well known brand. Im happy with the picture quality as a third tv in my gaming den. It should be $950 in store if you prefer to pick it up right away.

Look for the Samsung MU6290 or MU6300 (same tv, only difference is bluetooth).
65" was $1097 on Boxing day, currently $1297, check local retailers if they can give you Boxing day price or wait for a sale, imo it will be that price again very soon
