If you get 1000 points you don't have to pay for a drink you can redeem for a super big gulp or medium slurpee.

$11 for a meal at 7-11 is not a deal. Could get a lunch bento box, or a large bowl of pho, or 2 pcs fish and chip for around the same price.

Pretty huge savings vs their regular price.
Their wings and wedges are delicious too.

Wedges are huge, so this $10 is plenty for a meal for two. (10.89 even makes it include drinks for 2, since u can redeem the 1k for a free big gulp)

Not some kinda snack or lunch.

As mentioned you can get a free drink too with the 1k points. or you could also get dessert, 1k gets you any pastry. They have huge apple fritters that are delicious where I went last.

And probably should use the points on the spot (they award instantly) since the program has a stupidly short points expiration date now ( 90 days).

If you want a cheaper meal, they also have 3 chicken strips, 3 wedges, 500 points and a big gulp for $4 in august. Could get 2x of that, then another free drink or pastry with teh 1k points.
Also worth noting, they ring in the big gulp even in a combo normally, so it counts towards the buy 6 get 1 free in the app too.

Combo was 4.20 for me in ON, so you only pay partial tax too.

10 wedges, is that a big portion, like two large McDonald’s fries?

Last month the had a similar promo except pizza in place of 10 wings (that might still be going on since 7-11 often extend promos). Depending on your preference, pizza might be a better (or more filling) deal.

As far as wedge size goes, it depends on the store. Kingsway/joyce wedges seem bigger than other 7-11 and my guess is 4 is about the size of a potato, which likely is the same as 1 large fries as McD. Other 7-11 seem to be about 2/3 their size so slightly less than a large fries (tho in the past, McD fries size varies a bit too since some stack it over the top while othew just get to the top).

Yea id probably feel weird about getting a decent fast food meal at a gas station too.

But not all 7/11 have gas pumps. Some are just focused on convenience/food. The one I go too has no gas.

Sobeys and Loblaws have wings and wedges for cheaper.

At Loblaws for about $8 you get 8 big chicken tenders, no bones.

Chicken tenders are not wings. Completely different price range.

And even if they were, add wedges and even the cheapest drink and it's going to be more expensive.

loblaws / zehrs wings/wedges are great too. They have a $10 meal deal without a drink on 24/7, but it will get you a bit less food usually (they are generous and will fill an incorrect box for the deal sometimes, ymmv).

There best usual deal for cooked food is $10 for 16 wings, sometimes its up to 20 wings on special days (not atm). So if you dont want a side or drinks, then ya its a very good choice.

Got this last night. Everything was very tasty. Like @Eleventeen noted, it is probably enough for two people if they aren't super hungry

Where?

7-11 has hundreds of locations across the country, from small towns to major metropolitan areas. Is somebody in Regina SK , Brandon MB or Port Colborne ON going to be able to find a "bento box", let alone purchase one?

If you don't load the wedges up with nacho cheese and chili from the dispenser for free.. are you a true RFDer?
