How small is the birthday sized?
Smaller than the small cup? It's what I imagine so...like those "fun-sized" chocolate bars...

It's equivalent to the small size, they just change the design so it's a "birthday" cup.

According to the website it's first 1500 only from 7am-11pm. You also get 711 bonus points.

Free tic tacs on the 19th.

Thanks OP! I was able to get mine and scanned it for points, how long does it take for the points to show up?

at my local 7 eleven they were giving out samples of taquitos (probably because they fell on the floor earlier) to the line of people who were getting their free slurpees.

I, too, wonder how long it takes for the points to show up and does it count as one drink scan.

Is it necessary to scan the app?

To elaborate. Due to bad planning, I have my B7G1 free drink available now... if I have to scan the app, will this count as my freebie? If I don't scan anything, I'll miss out on the 711 points, but that's 7/10 of a medium which would be better to miss out on than a whole large or whatever I would normally get for my freebie.

Stores are supposed to scan the app - otherwise you wouldn't get the points or generate stats for their own use.
@everydaycraziness Points on past promos have shown up almost immediately.

In the past through there are always a few locations that just hand out free promo items without bothering to scan.

As to whether a scan will use up a freebie, YMMV with that. I know that it's possible to scan without using up a freebie because I've seen it done firsthand. But sometimes a transaction will "use" the freebie. That must be employees entering the transaction into the till in different ways. If you risk it & it goes badly you could try pointing it out & maybe the store will make good on the lost freebie. Or you could call 7-11 customer service which would typically add 1,000 pts to your account to make up for the lost freebie.

Just discovered my local 7-11 is closing in 2 days!!
No more freebies as I'm not near any other ones.
Better use up my reward drinks too :(

My store was giving the small cup away.
I had to specifically asked them to scan it.

Wondering too if scanning the free Slurpee will use up my B7G1 drink? Can anyone confirm?

No need to scan. They just hand out cups when you walk in.
