Accountant- BEST SOFTWARE keep + scan your receipts

Hi,

I have some piles of receipt, trying to open a business for the first time.

Any software I can use and scan? Paid vs free. I think about excel, but something tells me the file will be really huge and it may crash anytime.

Thanks!

Try https://www.waveapps.com/ - it's free for all features you need and it has mobile applications to scan receipts and add them to your accounts. I've been using them for a year so far and I like it.

For home office or small office it hardly matters as long As you keep receipts. Bottom line, once you reach a specific size (sales volume, employees, aso) you will get an accountant and he will be on QuickBooks or SimplyAccounting.

This is when you will switch to one of these.

For scanning any documents just use Google Drive on your phone. It will capture it, correct the perspective and save it straight to your drive. I sent all of my papers from my last home purchase like that. Looks just like a Xerox scanner.
