The accountant then blames the company for allowing her to steal the money...
"One pre-sentencing report indicated that Papakyriakou "blamed company executives for not examining her accounting practices closely and allowing her to go undetected for so long."
And now the accountant has a also launched a lawsuit suing both the province and two casinos...
"Papakyriakou has launched a $10 million lawsuit against the province and two Niagara Falls casinos for their roles in allegedly turning her into a pathological gambler."
Talk about having no empathy or remorse!

Didn't something like this happen a while ago? Someone bilked a company for millions for shoes or gambling addiction and blamed her employer for making it so easy? Think it happened somewhere in Europe...
Typical "it's not my fault - it's the fault of everyone else but me" mentality.

Yep, typical for North America in general. I hate this
