Accutire Digital Tire Guage
I bought this Accutire MS-4000 Digital Tire Guage at Canadian Tire (09-5518-2) at Canadian Tire. Worst digital tire guage I have ever bought. The nozzle is set at a funny angle and everytine you try to check your tire pressure you can't get it to fit/seal right and you end up losing a bunch of air. By the time you actually get it to seal you have already lost 2 out of your tires. After using it for a few times it seems like the rubber end cover on the nozzle is coming off. Only good thing about it is that it looks good and the thing is deadly accurate. I checked it at work on a calibrated bench test guage and 30.0 psi = 30.0 psi and 35.0 psi = 35.0 psi.

Don't get me wrong, Accutire makes one deadly accurate guage. It's just that the design of this one makes it really hard to get a seal on the valve stem.

Yeah I have the same problem with my Accutire. Very hard to get a good seal.

I use this Accutire. Bought it for $8 when it went on sale, and it works just fine.

My advice is to buy a gauge that's ASME B40.100-2005 certified. You'll pay a little more, but it's comforting to know that the pressure it reports has a reasonable chance of being reasonably accurate. I once tested a cheap digital gauge against my getagauge-style certified one, and they disagreed by 15%.
