Acer and Emachines - anyone use these laptop brand names in a classroom setting?

How pretentious must the person be to pull something as stupid as that? If you have a laptop, regardless of the brand, then bring it to class for your own benefits; who cares what anyone else thinks?

Back in my second year, I lent my current HP laptop to a friend, and I had to dig up this ancient notebook that my dad had (I believe it was an Acer, but can't be too sure) to bring it to class for a presentation. To give you an idea of how old that thing was, it had a disc drive and floppy drive hub that was connected externally to the laptop!

I have a special edition acer laptop. Has the Olympics logo and it does not bother me.
