i'd say a diy and a new/used car purchase sub forum.

Adding subforums to this forum?
Hi all,
Since this is one of the more popular forums, we've been thinking about adding a few subforums (max 2) similar to the Photography and Cell Phone subforums in the Computers & Electronics discussion forum.
What are your thoughts on that and what would you suggest the subforums be if they are created?
Cheers,
Ryan

Tickets and a comparisons/what to buy subforum. I think those are the more frequent topics around here. Maybe a diagnostics/problems one but I don't think it pops up as often.

I find tickets to be a popular discussion point. Anything else, including buying advice and general questions can stay in the main Auto forum. It's a touchy point for obvious reasons.

Don't think there's a need for a subforum. Easy way to deal with tickets, don't speed and follow the rules of the road and you won't get any.

I'd say ticket combat, general , troubleshooting.
there's a lot of troubleshooting on the forums, buying advice/general discussion should be in the main forum

tickets and the like deserve their own forum for sure. Buying, selling, and the processes/information involved like ccc reports and dealership recommendations might constitute another thread, but im not entirely sure as there is the possibility for a lot overlap with the main thread if someone was looking for opinions or advice on a particular model.

Buying in the US. That one thread by MonsieurMaggot has lost it's value as it's way too long and unstructured.

Don't think we need one. Volume in here isn't anywhere near high enough to justify it.
Plus, if people would just search the number of new threads would probably be cut in half._______________
