Adjustable height desk

I'm looking to get one from my wife for a home office. It seems like there aren't any retail stores that carry these. Mostly online.

Does anybody here have one? Any places to check them out?

Do you mean the ones that can adjust between sitting and standing level? Or just small height adjustments?

Check out the IKEA ones. Very cool, although not all that cheap ($700ish)

Do you want manual or automatic (powered) adjustable?

When I purchased a regular L desk at Source Office Furniture, they had some slick powered adjustable desks (regular and L shaped).

I assume this is for someone who wants a stand up desk only occasionally?
Keep in mind if you intend to adjust the desk frequently, WITH all your computer equipment on the desk, nothing is as convenient as automated.

It won't be your cheaper option, but I wouldn't get a manual adjustable desk that needs to be frequently adjusted.

If wanting an occasional stand up desk, get a tall table, then vary standing up vs. sitting on a tall stool.

Awesome, this seems to be the best deal. Didn't think about this.

Yes, automated. It's for my wife. I will check that store out too. I've some reviews on good manual ones, but all said they would consider the automatic, even if its more pricey
Thanks.

Don't forget the anti fatigue matt if this is for a stand-up config.

Yes, thanks for the reminder. I saw one where it's not the flat one, called Topco. Got really good reviews so will look into that.
