Looks like centrehifi price was an error. Now It's showing 799 like other retailers. :(
Just got a response from Costco and they confirmed the yas107 system does come with a subwoofer. May have to pull the trigger

Built-in or separate?

This system does already have dual built-in subs. It will be too much bass if it comes with external sub. Humm...

I sent another message back to get a more definite answer. The response I got was, "In response to your email, please be advised that the subwoofer is confirmed to be included with the surround system.".

Not exactly clear on that so we'll see. A few of the reviews for the 107 mentioned that it was a little lacking in the bass department, but thought it would be overcome with and added sub. Doubt that it would be too bassy, but the bigger issue here is that I can't find any info that says this soundbar can connect to a wireless sub. Just the wired output, but the ad clearly states wireless sub and even gives dimensions for it.

All this work makes me think it won't be worth it

edit: The dimensions they list for the subwoofer is the exact same for the 207 sub, so either they messed up or Costco has a "special bundle" with the same sub but it has to be wired (or it actually supports wireless).

What about the Vizio S4251 it's an older soundbar (2013) but got really amazing reviews back then. How much does sound technology improve over a few years?

As much as I agree with you, I wouldn't prefer to go that back on a model.

1. Finding one to buy is a pain.
2. If anything goes wrong, the replacement/repair process will be a bigger pain.

Hmmm... With 25 master pass thrown in, sounds tempting.

Not a bad deal at all. It's not for me though, not too keen on the look of it, and older technology in this case is a no go.

For $250 I'd be more inclined to go with this MagniFi One

As for the yamaha, even if the 107 does come with a serperate subwoofer, I'm not too sure if I'll buy it. Found a thread on avsforum that talked about how the 207 passes some of the audio to the subwoofer and some people were reporting a delay. Probably not a huge deal, but if the 107 is like that it would drive me nuts. There's also a few reviews out there of the MagniFi One that say it's some of the best sound for a soundbar and it's more in my price range.

Hey OP,
If your looking for a mighty soundbar for about 300 bucks - check out the HT-RT3 from Sony.
Comes with the soundbar, 2 surround speakers and a woofer.

600W 5.1 channel system via bluetooth

Gibbys - 298.00 - https://goo.gl/yxkjLt
Visions - 299.00 - https://goo.gl/ySDh25
Bestbuy REFURB - 269.99 - https://goo.gl/yZ6JZg

They might drop obviously seeing as Black friday is coming up but still great price.

Great for the price

Looks nice. On other RFD threads, folks mentioned Amazon had it for 199 in the past. Worth waiting?

I'm not seeing it as sold or fulfilled by Amazon, they may not sell it anymore?

Could be a good indicator it will go for cheaper

Hey OP,
All speakers and subwoofer are wireless bluetooth/NFC

They do have to be plugged in for power however.
