LOC doesn't give you points.. and interest rates are close to my bosses rates..

prime +4 or +5.. unless you secure your home equity on it..
Your credit card does. You use credit card to get points and use LOC to pay the credit card balance after the grace period. If your credit card has balance, depends on the credit card, you may lose all or part of the grace period.

Your boss' rate is 10%. Prime +4 or +5 is still less than that and you still maintain credit card's grace period.
