Advice re: Buying a TV in Toronto

Hi,

I'm in Toronto visiting family and want to help them to buy a new 50"+ LCD TV. I'd prefer them to have a 30 day money back guarantee, thus FS and BB are obvious, but I'd appreciate any tips on more local things (e.g. Visions in the West)

Thanks in advance!

I have no experience with it, but costco offers a 2 yr warranty on all their tv's. Most places charge $130.00 + for that so the $50.00 costco membership fee is worth it IMO.

I'm just starting to look at LCD and Plasmas (though have been wishful thinking shopping for a year lol) and I've found the prices have risen slightly since boxing day.

Smaller shopes = better pricer, sketchier locations and service. Just make sure your tv you get comes with an onsite 2yr warranty or somethin like that.
