Aero Auctions - Good Experiences?

Let’s get a couple thing out of the way, I’m pretty happy with my purchase so if the below sounds a little like a testimonial then so be it, but it’s true, so I don’t really see the harm. I’m sure others have had good experience too and I just wanted to share mine. I realize that it’s a little late to be writing this, but I figured no time like the present so here goes …

I had heard good things about Aero Auctions from a couple friends and my parents needed a new boat for the cottage so we decided to head up to Barrie and go see one. I’d checked auto trader before leaving to make sure I knew my prices, which were a little pricey for what we wanted to spend, but I was hoping the auction would allow us to save a little more and get hopefully a better (bigger/newer) boat for the money.

After going through and looking at all the boats we decided to bid on the 180 Islander, it took a little while for it to come up, but that just added to the fun (I'd never been to an auction before). Finally we got down to bidding and ended up getting it for $2000! Was super happy with my bid and after a little paper work we drove it back down to the cottage and can’t wait to try it out this summer. The boat looks in great shape and not really a scratch on it.

I would say I saved at least $1000 be going to the auction and getting the boat there, sure I didn’t get a ‘brand new’ boat, but for price it looks way better than what we had before (something older than I am). If anyone else has good experience with an auction house or Aero do share below.

I listed a boat as well and the guys at Aero Auctions took care of the whole sale end to end and got me a good price. I am certainly happy with my experience and would recommend them for anyone looking to buy or sell their boat.
