If Esso is your preferred pump, then it's no trouble. Need to pump gas anyway. I wouldve qualified for this without even knowing. I pump 50L every week at Esso.
Exactly my thought.. I wouldn't go out of my way to get this but I already fill at Esso.

It's been 3:1 earnings with just the Aeroplan card for some time now, it's 1 : 1.5 if you have a TD Aeroplan Visa card...

I think a more fair average valuation for Aeroplan is ~0.02cpp (https://www.howtosavemoney.ca/what-is-a ... ally-worth), although YMMV in what routes you would redeem Aeroplan for (I'm assuming that the majority of people on this forum go for airfare redemptions).

Speed pass is so annoying. Can't link the savings card to it. HVw to go inside and they scan the litres discount. Wish they would save time and link if

Have you tried the new SpeedPass+ app? It lets you link loyalty + fuel savings card + payment method (including gift cards!). Much more useful than the old fob.

I'm not him, but it sounds cool, except it has bad reviews and 3.0/5.0 rating on Android Play store, ha. I guess it's great WHEN IT WORKS

I guess so. It always works for me except one station ive gone to didnt support it yet. That is with an S8.

Ive switched to almost exclusively Esso gas mainly because of the app.

Everyone is dumping on Esso/Aeroplan, but where do you go that gives such an amazing return on a tank of gas?

My local co-op paid back 7.25% on fuel purchases last year which is impressive, but unless you're tanking up there chances are you probably aren't getting much more than the Esso Aeroplan bonus anyway.
