If you think AC is the worst airline, you need to fly with american airlines more.

I'd take air canada over westjet pretty much any day. Seat back TV's, flight crew that isn't overy talky and annoying, (mostly) on time flights etc...

So true! The old American airlines Boeing planes are worn out and terrible. They have crammed seating space that are old and stiff.
All air Canada planes i have been on offer humane amount of seating space and are comfortable with relatively new airbus planes.

+1

AND the A/C plug ins are a bonus if you happen to forget to charge up before you fly!
Can you believe it? They sent my income tax return forms back to me! In response to question # 4, "Do you have any dependants?" I replied - "2.1 million illegal immigrants, 1.1 million crack heads, 4.4 million unemployable people, 901 thousand people in over 85 prisons, and 650 idiots in Parliament.
Apparently, this was NOT an acceptable answer.

Who the hell did I miss?

I still don't see a deal here...
One way flight from Ottawa to Vancouver is 310 (315 from Toronto) CAD. Round trip would be 620 CAD. It doesn't look like a deal to me.

Air Canada > 99% of the airlines out there in North America. try travelling United ugh. can't be that bad considering Air Canada voted best airline in North America by some top award thingy.

Not saying much about Air Canada but i'm pretty sure some people just have the worst of luck when it comes to flying - getting outdated planes, poor customer service, delays, etc. Some people are just prone to that type of luck with some airlines. lol
Legen...wait for it...dary.

HA! I just flew Calg-Hfx return last week. If you thought it was bad having a toddler sitting behind you kicking the tray all flight, wait until you get a 14 year old playing video games on a non-responsive touch screen hammering your headrest all flight!

AC is better than any US carrier out there, however the prices for AC are too high.
I fly to FL often and AA will cost me $400 for a round trip whereas AC will cost 600$+

+1 on this deal sucking!

cold, I booked a 3 weeks earlier for round trip between vancouver and toronto and it was $160 less. Still, it might be good if you have a sudden need to fly. Thanks OP

Was this a promotion, and with which airline? Looking to book the same.
