Upon closer inspection of my ticket, the discount was more like 9%, $451 without coupon, $409 with. I wonder why...

Its 15% off the fare...taxes, fees, etc aren't discounted

I'll just out this here and say its 15% off BASE fare, which you see at fare summary nearby checkout.

For example my London flight is 800, but the base fair is only $200... saving $30 :(

Thanks OP...was able to book from Sudbury --> Orlando and then Fort Myers --> Sudbury for 2 adults, 1 child and an infant for $1,060 taxes, fees, etc.

Awesome deal..paid $1,680 last year for same thing, - the infant.

This is an awesome deal. now to find a car rental.
