FYI, on a similar promo over at Costco, only MasterCard payments via masterpass received the gift.

Masterpass is MasterCard's digital wallet. Although they did take other cards, it seems that it is only MasterCard holders that get such promos.

Got my eCard email last Thursday. I had to use my MasterCard as it wouldn't let me use my VISA.

Yes, I have my Capital One Aspire Cash Card as my primary on MasterPass.
I was able to register my Cap1 Aspire Cash World in my Masterpass wallet. But it would not let me use it to book a flight for someone else. I was able to book a flight for myself though. I had to also register a Visa in my Masterpass wallet to book a flight for my spouse and kids.

Seeing as there is an unwritten rule that it's limited to 1 eGift card per Masterpass account (based on some users report), I should have just booked everything on one itinerary and saved a bit of time.

How long did it take to receive the ecard? I bought my flight 2 weeks ago.

Ugh... nowhere in the terms did it say only mastercard users would get the promo. So all of us who didn't use mastercard got shafted?

I booked for my mom the first day of the promo using MasterCard with masterpass and received one e-gift card for each booking made, 20+. Sounds like from forum postings they may have altered that without updating the terms and conditions on the website.

My mom has already used up half of those on future flights so it worked out very well for her

I booked 4 flights using Masterpass with Visa. I read the terms and conditions multiple times - I will be annoyed if I do not receive the gift cards.
