I booked 4 flights using Masterpass with Visa. I read the terms and conditions multiple times - I will be annoyed if I do not receive the gift cards.
Same... Never said it had to be mastercard.... I'm still waiting on my 2 flights....

Has anyone contacted AC Customer Service?
Expect to be given the run-around. I canceled my fli reservations in response to this fiasco

I called AC and was on hold for 30 minutes. Then someone picked up, and I explained the issue. They put me on hold, then transferred me to masterpass support.
Masterpass support was clueless and told me I needed to talk to AC.

Sigh,
so we might need to resort to class action if we actually want anything done...

I would rather it is a $60 immediate discount. You get a eGift card and you have to buy another flight ticket to apply it. Air Canada should change their marketing policy and give customers more real benifit or discount.
If we can dream it, we can make it!

FYI, on a similar promo over at Costco, only MasterCard payments via masterpass received the gift.

Masterpass is MasterCard's digital wallet. Although they did take other cards, it seems that it is only MasterCard holders that get such promos.
Costco, the $25 off $100? I used Visa and got it

Contact the Merchant Law firm with a new class action inquiry, they specialize in those.

How long did it take to receive the ecard? I bought my flight 2 weeks ago.
I just received mine, it's took 3 weeks.

What did you book with your masterpass? AMEX? VISA? MC?

Has anyone bought flights using Masterpass with Visa and it has been 3 weeks and did not receive the egift card yet?
My purchase date was Nov 14 so at earliest I would get them is Dec 5th.
