So you paid with a combination of a GC and Masterpass then and got the credit?
Would also like to know.

Just an FYI , most air canada prices are jacked up by the $50. Be sure to check other sites before booking. I know I almost fell for this trap.

Red tag and Expedia has my flights for exactly $50 cheaper than air Canada.

Damn it, wish i knew about this earlier. I just booked 4 flights
You normally have 24 hours to cancel without penalty. Rebook with masterpass and cancel the old reservation.

Same price on Expedia and Redtag for the one I booked.

I just kept trying and it finally worked.
I tried with Edge, Chrome, regular mode and incognito mode on 2 computers, couldn't get it to work. Gave up in the end and just booked.

Going incognito mode on Chrome got the Masterpass window to show with the sign in fields. Before that, an almost blank Masterpass window pops up.

Hopefully, I get to double dip on the $200 Amex credit (for $1,200 or more) plus this $50 masterpass promotion as my Amex shows:
AIR CANADA VACATIONS

and the website is https://vacations.aircanada.com, close enough to www.aircanada.com

On my statement, it says AIRCANADA and not Masterpass, so I'm sure that you get the credit card benefits.
I guess I won't be getting $50 because I booked on Air Canada Vacations instead and my Amex shows AIR CANADA VACATIONS.

Worked for me. Booked on the 8th, got two credits on the 16th. A bit more worked to check-in online and get seats together.
Did you have to create a new masterpass account for the 2nd booking or did you do everything the same except 2 different transaction?

Thx!
