Airbnb poor support

For a company making millions they have poor support.

Anyways, no matter what space I look at etc I keep getting this error : " there was an error processing your request" try again later.

Does anyone what this is or why I'm getting it?

I'm not even at the booking stage. I'm trying to input dates to see if it's available.

Thanks

Try different dates?

I've never had issues with AirBnb or their website, so I'm wondering if you forgot to put something else in maybe ?

Hmmm I wonder if there were issues with the system or app. This one particular accommodation I tried said it's no longer on Airbnb or said something similar.

I was able to email the owners. And he replied my dates were available.

How do I find out if this place is legit? That maybe it was taken off the site. Even though now he says it's available.

I don't want to get to Mexico City and then get jammed. :(

I'd pass as it sounds suspicious. Maybe this person is using the site to bait and switch or bypass paying Airbnb fees which BTW are there to protect you.

Only look at places with lots of good reviews IMO.

Yeah. I've looked at some in Mexico City. Most seem to have 50+ reviews.

My friend who seems to use airbnb severAl times only had one problem.

I'm curious for sure. But also cautious lol

First off, don't book outside the Airbnb platform. That's just asking for trouble since there's no record of your stay there.

The thing with Airbnb is that the host can cancel at any time for any reason. They'll only incur a small penalty.

If you want some safety, what you can do is book a refundable hotel and cancel at the last minute.
