The phone is a pure rebrand. Nothing hardware related is being changed

Mi9T/Pro has a few extra bands compared to K20/Pro. (Band 4 is especially important for us.)

Mi9T/Pro - https://www.mi.com/global/mi-9-t/specs/
LTE FDD: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28
LTE TDD: B38/B40
WCDMA: B1/B2/B4/B5/B8
GSM: B2/B3/B5/B8

K20/Pro - https://www.mi.com/redmik20pro/specs/
网络频段
4G:
LTE FDD:B1/B3/B5/B7/B8
LTE TDD:B34/B38/B39/B40/B41
注:LTE B41(2535 – 2655 120MHz)
3G:
WCDMA:B1/B2/B5/B8
TD-SCDMA:B34/B39
CDMA EVDO:BC0

So because the device hasn't launched yet, we don't know the bands. For the K20, m9t is actually launched with more international bands. So one can assume they will do the same for k20pro and m9t pro.

Worse camera overall since it is just a single sensor vs 3 on the mi 9

Rhe main sensors are the same though and the OnePlus has ois

But I'd take the camera setup of the mi 9 over this any day

The OnePlus 7 is pretty good value though if you want similar to stock Android and a bit better battery life. It's actually extremely similar to the Mi 9 other than the cameras.

Not really. Wireless charging doesn't really let you use the phone and takes way longer than warp charging. The mi 9 is still a great phone but there are many other good options

That and I care about resale value. Try selling a Xiaomi here you will have a hard time. Selling OnePlus on Kijiji is usually smooth and they hold their value pretty well. If someone buys this Mi9 I would think they are planning to use it until it stops working.
