ALIEXPRESS Bad shopping experience

Just want to share with everyone on my bad experience with ALIEXPRESS.

I purchased 2 items from this shop DICOLA STORE https://m.aliexpress.com/store/2336301? ... sstype=600#/

One of the item is the 9 inches radio gps for volkswagen car, the item was delivered to me, after installing the gps, there are few issues namely display will black out, color is out, bluetooth not working wifi not working, i contacted the seller immediately to inform him of the problems, and he agreed for me to return and send replacement set.
Item was shipped back via express which cost 35usd, signed and received by seller on 3rd August 17. After that the seller never response to me anymore, my money for the gps radio usd229 was gone.

I raised dispute with ALIEXPRESS, uploaded the evidence, i had showing the screenshot item being returned and signed by seller, the end result, ALIEXPRESS RULE IT AGAINST ME, the buyer protection is fake and never will i buy from ALIEXPRESS AGAIN. BOTH ALIEXPRESS AND THE SHOPS DO SEEM LIKE OUT TO SCAM THE INTERNATIONAL BUYERS.

BE WARN international buyer.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. I still think they are a good source for non electronic goods that are less likely to be defective, eg. I bought a dog harness from them that was very reasonable. I don't like that you can't pay by paypal so you don't get that added protection. Fasttech is a really good Chinese site as well, and you can pay there by paypal.

The only thing I ever buy from Aliexpress is cheap crap that's worth a few $$. I never buy anything electronic or anything that might require warranty.

At the first place, never say you received the item.
If item doesn't work, just say don't received item, ask your credit card company for refund.
So you don't need to ship back the item.

So, are you suggesting that people lie on their claim form for a chargeback? You know chargebacks usually require a declaration or affidavit, right? Lying in this sort of application process is guaranteed to get your claim denied as soon as they find out.

I just bought a phone from AliExpress so we'll see how it turns out. I've had nothing but positive experiences prior to this.

The Chinese has never been about good customer service (or any at all). Its about profit, profit and more profit. I'd gladly pay double from Amazon or a reputable western company.

if you go the cheap route, be prepared to be disappointed.

I've had AE rule with me many times.

OP, post your conversation with AE's customer service team. There has to be a reason why they ruled against. Then again, new user, 1st post. I'm not hold me breath.

I provided the screenshot showing item had been returned and signed by seller on 3.aug.

AE replied on 7.aug

Regarding this dispute, we found there's no detailed evidence for the problem you mentioned when our Case Management Specialist handled this case. Besides, there is no video from you can prove the quality problems as well. As you know, it is hard for dispute team to help our buyers if the evidence is not supported. That's why we reminded you to provide the detailed video to verify your claim in the mail.

theres always a few bad apples in the bunch...ive only had 1 bad experience, i ordered a video cam (approx 40-$) it was sent back to seller at customs ...i asked for a refund & got it although it took 3 months.
