All the Toyota sell at MSRP?
I'm in Vancouver, In BC/AB All the Toyota sell at MSRP since they have "Access Toyota" Policy. They would just give you some small gift
I'm impressed by how they control the price,
I know in Toronto you can easy get $1500 off MSRP for Toyota.

I'm in Edmonton and a friend was able to get a Lexus below MSRP (I think it was only $500-$1000) so I would assume Toyota is possible as well?

so invoice cost pricing quotes won't help?
that's so lame. sorry to hear that. i'd contact apa.ca to find out if this is true or not. they'd know if their clients in b.c. were able to get below msrp, i think.
frankly, there's no toyota product so unique and so much better than other options that i'd make myself pay msrp. i'd walk out of a toyota dealer and come back with a honda or mazda and tell them that it was their idiotic pricing policy that cost them a sale. maybe they'll smarten up.

"Access Toyota" is not binding. Toyota cannot legally require that the dealers sell at the Access Toyota price...
Toyota got slapped around hard by the Competition Bureau on that one.

I contact APA, they told me just get small discount, not worth to get APA Membership
BC Toyota dealer must make very good profit since dealer in ON will offer $500 over invoice.
I believe Lexus is negiotable, but who knows?

Access only got slapped around out east.. here in Alberta we still had to abide by their Access Toyota pricing.
Though when I bought my car, I had the salesman give me free rubber floor mats, free mud guards, free trunk liner, etc... sure they can't give you a deal on the car price, but think of all the freebies you get to pick from their accessories catalog.
Lexus is negotiable.. my cousin is the region chief for Toyota trucks and SUV's, their pricing structure differs from Toyotas.

Not sure how Toyota managed to keep Access Toyota in BC, but it's definitely there. Try to haggle, they'll just show you the door.

I don't see why East vs West should matter, given that this is a federal law and administrative agency. Maybe Toyota just figures they can get away with it if they're several thousand kilometers away from the Competition Bureau.
If the salesperson tells you "Toyota won't let us sell below the Access Toyota price", then you should give the Competition Bureau a call.

Ahhh, the sense of entitlement that comes with being a seller of top-ranked overhyped Japanese automobiles... *sigh*

In the US, Toyota is having a hard time selling the new Tundras....so much so that they are/were offering a $1500 rebate....just a month after the vehicle was released.

800 under invoice????
or do you mean $800 under MSRP?? cause those are two completely different numbers.
If you can get a Camry LE for $29k (all in) here in Ontario then that is considered a good deal...

Somewhat True... hard time selling the base Tundras but not the top model.

Toyota is selling more CrewMax units than it can supply. Demand for the top-dog 5.7-liter V-8 also is outstripping supply. And Toyota is cutting production of standard-cab models because it is selling fewer than expected.
But a lot has gone right since the Tundra's launch in February. The company sold 13,196 Tundras in March, 12 percent above sales of the old Tundra in March 2006. Based on availability and inventories, Toyota says that it's on the right track, and that the Tundra will be selling at its planned 200,000 annual pace by summer.
