Like many American airlines, if you don't abide by their posted rules, they can re-sell your ticket if you are not there and, they do. It happens on Southwest and Frontier very often.

Allegiant Airline Check-in policy.. how strict are they?
so i booked a flight from bellingham to las vegas and i'm driving from vancouver.
my flight is 9:45am and i plan to leave vancouver at 7am, do u guys think this is enough time?
their checkin policy "sounds" very strict, you MUST check in 2.5 hrs ahead or you may forfeit your flight. i mean seriously 2.5 hrs?
any experieences?_______________

I don't think leaving at 7am is a good idea. That is cutting it a bit short. Allegiant is pretty strict about enforcing their rules, although you don't have to be there exactly 2.5hr. I wouldn't be there less than 2hrs before flight time at most.
It takes like 20-30 mins to get to the border at least. Say another 15-20mins in line. Then another 20-30 mins to the airport. Thats like almost 1 to 1.5 hrs in transit in the perfect situation. So you should really leave at around 6am at least to be safe.

Factor in the time it takes to cross the border, so I would be try to get there as early as possible. If you have time, just go to the 24 hours Bellingham Walmart McDonald's for a quick breakfast first. =)

I say LEAVE no later than three and half hours before flight. There's also construction along I5 and at the border too.

I'm flying BLI to LAS on Sat, I just booked a hotel. Check the Fairfield. It's right beside the airport and I've heard they let you park there for free... since the airport's $7/day, it doesn't cost that much extra to stay.

If you care about your car, it would be prudent to park in the parking lot and not away from the airport. If you get early enough to the airport you won't have a problem with parking.
