Allergy medicine?
A friend just got allergy reactions, don't know what she ate that made it happen, but shes all itchy with red patches all over. Anyone had a similar experience and know of what type of medicine I can quickly grab at shoppers?

You need an anti-histamine like Claritin.

Claritin is not your best bet in this case. You'd want a first-generation antihistamine if you want faster relief, provided your friend has no contraindications to such therapy. Talk to the pharmacist.

ok over the last 2 weeks ive broken out in hives. Doctor told me its a reaction to the seasonal change. My hives started out as a trigger from allergy syptoms and spread from the chest to my abdomen and arms. Im taking a cream called "betaderm".
Contact your doctor though/

Has she, or is she currently using any medications? Her symptoms were the same as mine and the Doctor figured out that I was allergic to Amoxicillian. I had just completed the medication, and the red itchy patches appeared. Never seen them again since.
She could try an oatmeal bath to temporarily help ease the itchyness.
