i'm wondering if anyone has had issues like this...

i have a good 3-piece Altec Lansing speaker system for one of my computers...i've had it for the longest time but i recently notice that the fabric is torn at the edges (the items have been shipped/moved due to several relocations)...

3-piece sets of decent/equal/better quality are really cheap these days, but the set is still good sound-wise, so how does this get fixed? it's not like the grille pops out for replacement as the fabric is tightly wrapped between the permanent grille and the speaker itself - i hope this is clear enough of a description.
