Altnet spyware

I have run MSN antispyware many times, and constantly keep removing Altnet, but it won't get rid of it completely.

I rebooted my computer in safe mode yesterday, ran the scan, told MSN ASW to remove the Altnet program, but it still shows up.

Under View All Detected locations it had:
Hkey_local_machine\software\altnet

Anyone know how to get rid of that?

Thats a registry key. Run Regedit from the Start>Run box and delete the key.

Also while in regedit do a search (Edit>find) for more mentions of Altnet and delete them too.

Do a system backup first!!
