It's worked fine for me for thousands of apps. And apparently a bucket of people in this very thread.
Must be you I guess.

The first rule of RFD is, you do not talk about RFD.

Coins are usable on any device (can work on my Android and Amazon.com) but you need to have your account registered in the US.

To those saying they only got 60 coins back, that's what the message said to me, but when I checked my amazon account afterwards (a couple minutes later) I had all the extra coins.

It works but it is not as good as the play store in some regards.

1) Versions of the apps are often old.
2) Getting updates requires checking manually
3) Installing is all a two step process, basically sideloading.
4) I don't think there is a system in place for automatic refunds?

The giant positive things are:

1) You can install the apps across any devices you care to install the appstore on using your amazon account so it's not tied as thoroughly into specific devices as google account is for the play store.

2) Things do tend to be cheaper on the amazon app store, unless they are on sale on play store but not in the app store.

You missed a few things:

- While the versions in the Amazon App Store are often a little behind the Google Play Store, they do get updated regularly, and they usually aren't far behind. Android apps update way too often and for entirely trivial reasons in my opinion anyway.

- Amazon applies their own version of DRM to apps bought through them: you must have the Amazon App Store installed on your device and registered online to the same account that bought the apps, or they will not run.

- Uninstalling an app purchased through Amazon from your device doesn't get rid of it from your list of My Apps in your Amazon account. You can go to your Cloud list of My Apps and re-install it again at any time. But you can permanently delete it from your Amazon account.

Did this a few mins ago, confirm that this works. Ultimately you gain 250 coins. Ignore that it says you got 60 coins only, update your balance in a few mins and you'll be up +250 coins

Anyone else been getting "Something didn't work right... Try again?" on the MLB.com team shop page? I've cleared the app data, rebooted, tried a different network, but I can't get it to load.

Yes, I get this error on my S4 w kitkat. EDIT: I had Adaway installed and after disabling it, I could get into the team shop.
