Costco has the analog version for $199, comes with the grill plate which has a MSRP of $50, that grill plate makes cleaning SO much easier. It's replaced the mesh grill, although the mesh grill is superior at making a large batch of frozen prefried foods due to the basket. But the grill plate makes cleaning so much easier, wipe and done.

Do you mean the analog version? This one is digital...

My 10 year old Krupps convection oven was showing it's age so after researching these for quite awhile, I bought this model the last time it was on for this price.

My experience is that the cooking results are identical to a convection toaster oven but with a smaller capacity. If you are cleaning it by hand it is a pain compared to the oven.

I completely agree with the wirecutter review which came out after I bought it. They don't recommend them. I think it's the first time I've seen them not recommend anything in a particular category.

I suspect that a lot of the good reviews are genuine, but from people who have never used a good convection toaster oven as a comparison.

The Krupps oven was the most useful appliance I ever bought. If I had it to do over this time I would have bought a Breville convection oven instead of the Philips.

I have convection oven and this one as well, each has its place in the kitchen. Phillips is much better at actually air frying, be it fries or steak or anything else. Owen is more for baking stuff.

Wife has been using ours for a little while now, and it's done a pretty good job considering how little time it takes to cook things and how well things turn out with little-to-no-oil added.

That said, as mentioned, the bottom tray has a mesh that is a pain in the arse to clean manually (have never put it in the dishwasher). Gotta get a small brush to get the nooks and crannies clean.

Yea that's why I was willing to pay 100 extra.. And I did. 30 extra is huge bonus lol. My wife keeps complaining about how we make chicken breasts. I'm hoping this ads some different options with panko and KFC 99x seasoning.. ☺️

RFD might have just rescued my chicken dinner..

Is this 99x seasoning any good and where do you buy it?
