Great deal for a high performance 500 GB SDD drive.
Considerably faster performance than the BX300 posted. Benchmarks
$30 more gets you newer tech, faster speed and more storage space. ~ All round a much better drive!
Enjoy!

MX500 replaced the MX300, not BX300.

Edit: I see the reason for the comparison, a completing deal, lol.

I think MLC lasts longer. Or am I wrong?
It is a discussed topic and I'm not sure there is a clear winner, plus the drive has a 5 year warranty.
The BX300 is an entry level SSD where the MX500 is quite a few steps up (well, it's the flagship).

MX500 is higher and better than BX300.
$30 is definitely worth it.

I installed a few of these and they are great, not Samsung EVO great yet.

The other option I can suggest is the WD Blue 3D, they can be had for a little less with similar performance.

It looks like the BX300 is just a little slow than MX500, unnoticeable. And MLC lasts longer right? And the MX500 cost $30 (23%) more. I will stick with BX300 for now.

I picked up the same drive today from the Newegg eBay store for $162.56 shipped using the 15% off eBay coupon in another thread.
