Its a tn panel. No thank you.
Its a gaming monitor with 144 Hz. It's a fantastic deal. Unfortunately, I bought one over Christmas.

No expert but the tn does not bother me. I would like higher then 1080p though. Fairly well reviewed monitor in my brief look.

Question for those more well versed. I've been wanting a gaming monitor for console gaming (xbox one) and have been holding off until I get my best buy gift card from a warranty reimbursement. Am I better off getting a similar sized monitor with freesync (same 1ms response time) than picking something like this up? I'm hoping to spend $200 or under pre-tax.

Also, could we match this at bestbuy and price beat it by 20% of the difference? Aka $179.99

Best Buy probably doesn't price beat amazon.

Times like now I wish I had picked up an AMD card, the monitors I want at 27", +144hz, 4MS, IPS and G-sync are murdering me! Freesync in the same range are so much cheaper :(

Know your stuff before trying to sound cool - find me a IPS 144hz monitor for under $400 and I'll buy 3 of them, or maybe 5.

This is actually a good deal for a 144hz! I already have a VG248QE unfortunately.

doesn't appear to be freesync or gsync so its already a few years old. maybe wait for a better monitor if you're going to upgrade.
had bought a open box from ncix 27 inch benq 144 hz no freesync or gsync for 220.00. so maybe you can also find a deal like this.

I'd get it right away if it were at least 1440p or had g-sync.

Dunno if I really want a small 1080P monitor that tears these days...

Does anybody know how this compares to the BenQ XL2411Z 144Hz 24"? Thanks!

If I’m not mistaken, console gaming wouldn’t have a benefit with 144Hz. If the graphics card won’t output higher than 60fps, there’s nothing for the monitor to refresh faster for. Console gaming is locked to 60fps, and even 30fps. I believe a 60Hz monitor is all that is needed for your use.

They do. So if you're planning on going for it, you better go now before they adjust their online prices.
