[Amazon.ca] Acer Switch 3 Convertible Laptop, 12.2" Touchscreen display, Intel Celeron N3350, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 64GB eMMC Memory - 300$

Intel Celeron N3350 Dual-Core Processor (Up to 2.4GHz)
12.2" Full HD 1920 x 1080 multi-touch IPS display
4GB of LPDDR3 Onboard Memory
64GB Internal Storage
802.11ac WiFi
Up to 8 hours of battery life
Adjustable U-shaped Kickstand

Cheapest I've ever seen it. Quite underpowered but has a nice screen according to reviews and is half the price of other options on the market since it includes the keyboard.

That N3350 CPU is gonna be a huge pain to deal with.

Doesn't compare to the Vivobook deal which costs the same

Better RAM, better storage (SSD > emmc), better cpu, Vivobook can go up to 900p which is close to 1080p

AMD's Super Resolution feature uses the subpixels of a native screen resolution to produce the impression of high resolution for the same native resolution.

Also, it's a value laptop, and an excellent value at that. This thread's laptop is crippled by a slower CPU, slower non-upgradeable RAM, and incredibly slow eMMC.

Respectfully, it's a joke to compare the two and find fault in the screen resolution when the specs of this Celeron build are much worse overall.
I aim to be inclusive and considerate of others in my posts. If I fall short of that mark, feel free to let me know in good faith, and where appropriate, I'll edit my posts. Thank you.

Nope. I guess this would be someone people's deal breaker. Personally, for a laptop I don't like touchscreens because usually the screens are glossier which means its harder to see in bright sunlight and ALSO the battery life is less than a laptop without touch since obviously, a touchscreen uses more power.
