That is better than ebate 12%. But redeem Costco cash card is not the best use of Aeroplan miles

Use this in conjunction with Amex cobalt 10x point offer to get 10x Aeroplan point and 10x MR points?

What would you suggest for redemption? I don't travel much and most merchandise in rewards section seem to require a lot more miles.

Aeroplan still around? Is Air Canada going to use aeroplan in 2020? Hesistant to collect aeroplan is AC is gonna kill the program and create their own.

They just paid $450 million for it. They are not going to kill it.

Aren't Aeroplan miles valued at 2.5 cents per point? In that case, Air Miles 5x pts would be a better offer

No, that wouldn't be a better deal. You only get 1 Airmile per $20 spent, so even at 5x, that's only 2.5% off.

I want to do that too. Anyone know how long this Aeroplan promo will last?

Does this include gift cards? No mention of that in the offer text.

If I spend $100.00 + HST, then I would get back $12.00 from ebates at 12% cash back. Isn't this better than 1000 aeroplan miles? (based on 1 aeroplan mile per $1.00 * 10x)... What could one possibly do with 1000 aeroplan?

if I'm wrong, please recalculate for me. Maybe I don't know the breakdown on calculating aeroplan.

Thanks

Air Miles are not the same as Aeroplan points. Air Miles is 1 airmile per $20. With this deal, you get 10 Aeroplan miles for every $1 spent at Amazon.ca. This means spend $2500 at Amazon and earn enough points for a flight on Air Canada anywhere they fly in North America. It is a great deal actually if you have an Aeroplan account.

Except that Air Canada still charges your for Fuel and Taxes with Aeroplan points. That said, there are airlines like, United, or EgyptAir (etc), that don't charge you for fuel. Flying anywhere with Air Canada using Areoplan points is a horrible deal.
