This conversation is turning a little. Knives are being pulled, brothers being called.

For those new readers looking at a new Ryzen 3700X or higher:
1) Buy this 'deep discount' 3900X as a hedge
2) Hold until delivery or cancellation
3) if you're cancelled, come here to strategize.

God bless.

Why would he be joking?

That is absolutely something that they will have the ability to do. You think any major company doesn't have the ability for IT/web dev/PM/whatever to access their tools from home?
This is kind off topic.
But I'm willing to bet that it is a huge database, modifying something remotely is high risk. In general one would not do large DB transaction remotely, unless completely insane. Or with a death wish.

Don't think the IT employee or team will do anything until Monday.

The CSR already need 2 to 3 minutes to read and check your issues. How can you use 2 minute to convince the CSR to exchange for another product with different ASIN? Besides, there is no such option from the order to exchange for a different product which means the CSR needs to get the supervisor approval.

Considering the amount of these CPUs that have been purchased due to this price, it is going to be very interesting to see how Amazon deals with this. They know that if they ship out this number of CPUs, but ship them as the R7 3800X CPUs instead, that the amount of returns on their hands will literally be in the tens of thousands. What a hassle for them to deal with.

That's an excellent point. They would be utterly stupid to ship thousands of guaranteed returns as they'll lose money on shipping and returns. They will either cancel orders or ship the real 3900x.

Amazon has fixed errors within 20 minutes in the middle of the night. The $94 camera error was fixed in 20 minutes at 2am Sunday night. They do have the resources

Highly doubt it. Doubt 10 000 3900x have been sold Canada wide even.

This tread is getting interesting as more posts are getting posted.

Do we have to wait for the result 1 to 2 months or by Monday?

Mine says arriving September 16th.
Koodo $34 / 10GB (unlimited talk)
Freedom Mobile 39 / 11GB (1GB Nationwide and US roaming)
