Sign me up for an Automatic smart watch, too bad it'll be a long- ***** time before they will be able to run off a spring.

That original price looks grossly inflated, not at all surprised, happens for many watches on Amazon and other sites.

At that "sale" price a Seiko 5 would be a better buy, you'd get a reputable brand and movement, though the NH35 seems to be an unbranded 6R15 perhaps.
For the original price, add a little more and you could have an awesome Seiko SKX/SRP driver

Seems like a decent movement.

One reviewer: "While the SII NH35 movement is not quite as desirable as an ETA 2824-2 in my opinion, its still a good movement with hacking and handwinding – unfortunate that it beats at 21,600, which will have a choppier second sweep."

Here's a thread on Android.

If you get a seiko 5, get the 809. Trouble is its much cheaper on amazon.com. Much.
ALWAYS CHECK HEAT BEFORE MAKING A DEAL. YOU DONT WANT SOME LOW LIFE SCUM BAG TAKING YOUR CASHO :)

Interesting read, JAC. Seems Android makes a wide range of watches with various movements from different companies, never heard of them before today

Just use ebay and a reputable seller (I had good experiences with ivshc, no brokerage/tax), last time I checked the 80x was between $70-80, though has been $50 in the states. Grey market/no warranty though. There are so many Seiko 5 series watches to choose from, something for pretty much everyone. It's mind boggling when you compare it to the 1-3 models you may see in a local shop.
