Exactly. Don't see why they still keep pumping out micro-usb devices.
Because there are still hundreds of millions of devices out there with micro-USB that need charging.

Besides, if you are carrying a battery brick, a little extra cable shouldn’t bother you that much. Furthermore, it comes with a pouch.

In markets where they use cheaper $100 Androids maybe but in North America? Practically half the country has a device that's less than 3 years old.

I see comments on here about other battery's. Are these kind of packs 6 of 1 half a dozen of another? 10,000 is 10,000 no matter who makes the device? Or is there a quality level in these things?

if anyone has a hong kong friend, I recommend the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro. It can be had for about 35$ cad. 10000mah. QC in and QC out.

Not sure where I can get this locally...

The battery cells some companies use may not be high quality. Just like dollarstore alkalines and duracells.

This is a pretty meh deal, IMO. You can find a better 10k mah deal. You are basically paying for the small form factor and the Anker brand name.

For $40, you would think it would have two ports and a Type C usb in/out.

You can find a better deal with Ravpower or Aukey

And how many of these are iPhones? In North America, I bet A LOT.

Even if the entire "half of the country" were running new Android devices, there is still half with older phones, not to mention the millions of older non-smartphone devices. Piss poor business strategy to ignore the majority of the market.
