The HDD I am getting this off? Perhaps. It is an internal 1TB with a USB 2.0 enclosure lol. Old HDD from 2009/2010

Shall try moving a file from one of my SSDs.

Wowza that was quick. Responded back to Amazon and they applied a credit of $15.59 including taxes back to my CC. Sweet. Takes 2 to 3 business days to process.

I think I'll order from Amazon now :) vs other places hehe.

If I am understanding your post correctly, then yes, the bottleneck is the USB 2.0 enclosure. I've seen HD's in USB 2.0 enclosure's max out at the speed's that you are reporting.
