[Amazon.ca] August Smart Lock Pro + Connect - $229.99

Lowest price ever according to the many humped site.

Lock is relatively old but a good deal if you need the lock + connect and want a Homekit compatible smart lock. Well rated at Tom's Guide

Ya I got it around 130 during Prime day. Anyone had issues with the battery? It keeps running out after a few days. Wonder if I should claim warranty on it.

Perfect for leaving "Alexa unlock front door" when the answering machine picks up.

If you got this with the Connect on Prime Day for $130 that's a crazy deal, because the Connect alone normally retails for ~$90. If you don't need the Connect it's definitely been cheaper in the past.

have the older style august which is still working well

don't like the hockey puck look on the later model but that's still a good price if you don't have a time machine

No this doesn't work. For safety you can only lock your door. Just like shopping with Alexa, you need a private passcode to authorize.

Bought this during prime days for $130 and love it! Want to add a second lock to the same home. I assume I can add a second lock to the same hub. So what’s a good price for just the lock or how much can I sell the extra hub for on Kijiji ?

I’m pretty sure if you want full access to all features each lock has to have its own ‘connect’ hub.

I bought mine for $130 on Prime day also. Just changed the batteries today for the second time since I bought it.
I also have the August keypad and it's linked to SmartThings so it might draw more power than otherwise.
Love the lock but I find that a bit disappointing.

There seem to be some in the Amazon Warehouse that you could potentially "roll the dice" on...

I personally bought one from the Amazon Warehouse last December (Used - Acceptable rating) and it came in completely brand new condition, still had the stick-on protectors on the lock etc. It has worked perfectly since and I have not yet had to change the batteries. I do find that it works a bit better from the app than through Homekit.

I got it on primeday as well. The auto-unlock feature is really nice. I linked mine with Smartthings hub as well and I changed batteries twice.
