[Amazon Canada] Braun Series 9 9095cc Wet and Dry Electric Shaver with Cleaning Center - $290.67

The Braun series 9 9095 is on sale for $311, looks like it retails for $400 most other places. From what I’ve read the series 9 is one of the best shavers.

It’s now $290. Load up over a $100 on amazon gift card get $5 free saving you a bit more.

Not a very good price. Was much cheaper on prime day.

I think it was 239.99 for a few hrs on amazon prime day. It was that midnight sale or something. I'd wait for this to go down more because it was 300 just last week. price fluc as i've been stalking it to go down but missed prime day price because sleep.

This has hit the $250 mark before (and sub $250 for the model without the cleaning station). If you don't absolutely need it right now, might be worth it to wait for Black Friday.

On a side note, as someone who has used the previous top of the line 7-series, while these do a decent job, they still don't compare to manual razors, and the consumables can be expensive. I would really only buy one if convenience outweighs the quality of shave you get, because from a cost perspective, I don't really know if it is much cheaper than using a manual razor. I used to cut very easily and thought it was sensitive skin, and that's when I switched to an electric. Some years back I switched back, but started using high quality shaving gels/creams and have not had an issue.

Yeah, the only reason I use an electric is because when I use a razor I get in grown hairs like crazy. I don’t have that problem at all when I use an electric. I have a series 5, it takes forever to shave with it so I figured I need to upgrade. Clearly from what everyone is posting I’ll wait until it’s cheaper.

I have this razor. It replaced a 6+ year old Braun that finally died. I find it excellent though it's bigger than my old unit and took some time to grow accustomed.

As an alternative, the Series 9 will be on sale Nov 27-Dec 10 at Costco for $250. As a bonus, it will include a battery powered pocket shaver. The Amazon item includes the cleaner which some may prefer. I don't have the cleaner and don't feel the need though it is a bit hard to clean inside the head as a result.

This seems like a REALLY good deal, with the included pocket shaver.

Where did you see that costco will sell it? I’ve only ever seen the 5 series there? If they sell the 9 series for that price it would be a pretty hot deal!!

deezz is quoting my post, #8 above, where the link to the page is found. Costco currently has the razor for $320 but will have it reduced for the dates listed above.
