Add that to the recent deals on monochrome laser under $90. This one is mulifunction and has a ethernet port, prints 27 ppm, cheap toner for only 5 bucks more (the 79.99 hp and brother has EHF fees on top but amazon does not seem to add EHF fees so its another saving of around $5 depends on your province)

Looks like a good printer, with duplex print/scan/copy with scan to email feature and LAN. Everything I want, yet I already have a laser printer... I just need a cheap duplex scanner
...
Thank you for the update.
Same price at staples~

Bought this in a previous deal. This is a good duplex printer, although some may find the fan to be a bit noisy.
Note that scanning is single sided only. The sheet feeder works with scanning though, which is very convenient if you need to scan a stack of (single sided) pages.

You sure it isn't duplex scan/copy? It says so here:
http://all-in-one-printers.findthebe...ther-HL-2280DW
well, it says duplex copy, but I assume you could also duplex scan?

I just bought this one: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...fa1ecca75een02, $129.99
Includes: noise reduction; wifi wireless; 1200 dpi printing; and duplex copy (I believe, haven't tried it yet). Added bonus: the software that comes with printer is really clean and simple to use; where usually the software for printers is bloated and annoying. I think Samsung really steps up the notch.
Ebay has replacement cartridges for $30 with free shipping.
There is also this one from Canon for $129.99, but I think the Samsung looks cleaner, and I think the Canon only has 600 dpi printing.
I didn't want the DCP7065DN because it doesn't have wireless or fax, plus everyone says it's pretty loud.
I used to have Brother HL-2040 laser printer. It was a good printer, gave me a good impression of Brother, but yeah - it was a little loud. The DCP7065DN continues a very similar design trend to that HL-2040, which feels like it's 10 years old and in need of a makeover, whereas Samsung/Canon feel modern and polished.Last edited by mofesto; Dec 28th, 2012 at 02:59 AM.

Darn.. Got an HL-2280DW from FS on Nov 24th -- I can still return it (extended returns), but I'm debating whether to get this (non-wireless) or keep what I have (wireless)... I got the 2280DW for $100. It doesn't have a feeder and is $20 more (guess in this case I'd be paying to keep the wireless feature...)
What do you guys think? Return and take the risk with networking the DCP7065DN, or sticking with the wirless 2280DW?
Oh, and I've got 2 phones, 1 tablet, and 3 computers that will need to be printer-enabled regardless.

Yup and better yet you can get high capacity toners for $25. Last time it was on sale at staples for $99 a month ago. Brother is definitely under rated. We have all in one inkjet that's been running strong for 4 years all on ink from ebay. I just bought a wireless brother laser and already ran through the 700 page starter toner.
The printer will stop printer right after 700 pages on the intro toner. To keep printing log into the ip address of your printer and select the option that goes something like "continue printing when toner is low"

Thanks op for the post. Can anyone recommend a cheap good quality 4 in 1 (faxing) mfp ideally with cheap cartridge replacements? I looked at the canon but the timer refill kits look messy
edit: as well if you don't require the network functionality, BB has the model below (DCP-7060D) for $70
