Is it worth the $30 despite mixed reviews? Have an old toaster to replace.

I'm always weary of cheap toasters. The last one I purchased for $30 (Oster from Costco) is a year old and requires toast to be flipped mid toasting to get it evenly toasted. If someone has a recommendation on a decent one, I'd appreciate it!

I just google'd the Zuse USB toaster... and now I need to get one. Everyone should get a toaster printer!

Definitely need to get that USB toaster. Also, the toast autofeeder is an excellent idea, surprised more toasters don't have that. It would save me from having to go open the bag and manually put it in!

Bodum toasters are always pretty good from my experience, wouldn't trade mine in for the world, not a bad price on that either, $50 compared to the $85 on US amazon (I didn't look any further than that though). Only downside is that it's a little small. Rowlett is the brand to go with, but generally way too expensive to just make toast. Delonghi's high end ones are great, a mate had one, looked good too (it was this one, but in black). Zojirushi also make toasters, and they make some of the best appliances around, but again expensive.
