Already have both. A must have for any watch collection. I'm waiting for this gold one to drop to a good deal...

Men's Gold-Tone Casio World Time Stainless Steel Watch A500WGA-1 https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01N06LWES/ref ... eAb5E66JWR
Make sure to check out these ones too, here are some more pics of similar styled watches:

I particularly like the Casio on the far left. It has a good look and design.

That's the kicker, even the metal ones have plastic cases into which the stainless steel springbars go into, if the band doesn't fail the springbar holes might given enough force or strap changes. The watch modules are indestructible though, they will run forever even if the rest of the watch falls apart
yup...when we had these back in the day when the strap fell off we just kept the damn watch in our pockets. memories Face With Tears Of Joy

...Hum...I don't know...I guess it really comes down to preference. IMO, gold (colour) on a watch is a very regional thing (e.g. in Asia).

For some unknown reason, the watches in the photos remind me of this: Image

Thanks OP.

For some weeks, I have one item in my Amazon shopping cart waiting for a filler to make up a total of $35 to enjoy free shipping.

I have pulled the trigger to grab the F91W which just suits my purpose as a filler.
It is also a filler that I would put to good use upon receipt.

I cannot recall I have ever bought any branded watch for such a low price ($11).

I bought one of these last year for only $12. I love the simple classic feel to them.
I prefer this over any of my other fancy watches lol.

This watch is also hardware hackable if you've got soldering skills. You can unlock the countdown timer as an additional mode. See the threads in the watchuseek.com forums.

Yes, but would you buy a dozen of these cheap Casios and never wear them, or use the money instead buy a couple of 'good' watches that you will can wear every day and enjoy?

That's my issue now. I sold some of my Casio collection the other day, but still got the AE1200 ;-) I hope not to buy any more so that I can afford a nice Orient or Seiko diver. I currently have the F91 as well which I use as my gym/gardening beater watch.

Thanks. Actually I do. I've been an electronics hobbyist since childhood. Here's the thread for those interested, just need to remove one jumper:

Don't you need a beater for the pool? That's my excuse anyway.

I just got the Casio MDV-106 (diver watch - 200m water resistant) when it went on sale a few days ago... so I don't have that excuse anymore.
