Amazon.ca and Chapters Coupons - for those looking for them
EDIT: This thread has actually been going for several years, I have not maintained it in quite a while but I noticed it was at the top and I am editing the OP.
At the time of the original post (6 years ago!) there were regular Chapters.ca and Amazon.ca coupons. Now, not so much.
Nevertheless, I still see Chapters.ca coupons once in a while. If anyone obtains knowledge of coupon codes please PM me and I'll add them to the top.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread over the years.
RFD can be a killer source of information and with our pooled knowledge, everyone can benefit.

Thanks Pauline! The idea here is to have a thread that is constantly visible so coupon seekers can find it.

whenever I'm looking for a coupon, I usually check the "coupon" section of this forum.

Which is logical. However, for whatever reason, the mods are not allowed post certain coupons on the Coupons page of RFD. These 2 Amazon.ca coupons are among those. (I have already asked the mods to post them on the Coupons Page, and they cannot. The reason why I do not know (although I have a hunchOriginally posted by McPaul@Feb 6 2004, 05:51 PM

To others who have Chapters.ca or Amazon.ca coupons, please post them here, and I will add them to the top of this page.

Anybody know if its possible to use a coupon after you've ordered and paid for something?
I looked for coupons the other day and didn't find any, so I placed an order anyway. Now there's these!

No, it's not, unfortunately. You'll have to cancel the order and reorder the item to do this. And if the item has been shipped and billed, obviously you can't cancel the order.

I'm not sure if Amazon or Chapters will match prices, I've never tried it. They usually have prices that are fairly similar to each other on new releases, but I've noticed big discrepancies elsewhere.Originally posted by barqy@Feb 8 2004, 03:51 PM

All I can advise here is to ask customer service.

Interesting... I didn't know about this.
Pressure from advertisers, I'd imagine...

I received this in an e-mail newsletter from Travelocity:
And now, Travelocity customers can save an additional $5 off Amazon.ca's everyday great prices. Redeeming this offer is easy. Visit www.amazon.ca/travelocity and add the items you want to your Shopping Cart. During checkout simply enter code: MAPBESTDEALS in the space provided on the payment page. Click the "Apply" button. You're done!
This offer expires April 3, 2004. FREE shipping available for orders over $39._______________

The moderators should pin this so that it doesn't need to be bumped all the time.

Rehan, thanks so much for that coupon code. I've added it to the top of this thread.
