[Amazon Canada] Clif Bars - $0.66 each (when bought in bulk)

Great deal for someone who goes through a ton of these bars. I use them pretty often as a post workout snack.

Amazon has a sale on, $20 off if you spend $60 on nutrition products. Before the discount, Clif Bars cost $12 for a box of 12 (which is already a good price). If you buy 5 boxes, that's $40 for 60 Clif Bars (~$0.66 each).

Builder bars are also included in this sale. They're $20 for 12 before the discount, which ends up being just over $1 each after discount (they're a bit less than $20, so you'll need a filler to reach a cart worth $60).

Note: may be even cheaper if you use Subscribe and Save. Haven't tested if the $20 off still works with that option.

In this day and age, the ought to make a low-carb version. These are loaded with sugar and carbs are good for nothing else but an occasional snack when there's nothing else.

Technically a good deal, but you might as well eat Oh Henries or Mr Bigs because these bars are terrible for you nutritionally.

An option for those with Costco (certainly ONT): 18 count variety packs are on sale for $12.80 or $0.71@

At the end of a long run, I'm wanting a direct injection of sugar, if I didn't I would feel really horrible afterwards. They should be used as fuel, not snacks.

cliff bar ... snack ... lmao if you eat these and didn't go out hiking, run a marathon or hit the gym for 2 hours than you're doing it wrong.

Looks like a lot of people in here dont either workout or understand how sugar works.

These are great for energy after a long run or a hike. These are not meant as a nutritional snack. People who work out or are super active need carbs aftewards to get energy back after consumption.

The war on carbs is old news.

The mainstream is still brainwashed into thinking all carbs are bad, and fat is ok.

The mainstream is still brainwashed into thinking all carbs are bad, and fat is ok. These have varying amounts of fat, the real concern.
