[Amazon Canada] Coors Edge Non-Alcoholic Beer (0.5%) $5.62/6pk

Looks like the 6pk SKU of Coors Edge is on dynamic pricing. I bought it last week for just over $4, but at $5.62 it's still much cheaper than reg. price $9.99 or in stores ($12 at Save-On, etc.). Plus with free shipping on a heavy product... and no tax, it's pretty convenient.

Not bad to have on-hand for guests needing to drive at Christmas time or whatever.

I get it's not craft or "real" beer and not for everyone, but some people have a use for this guilt-free product... taste wise it's not bad (what a compliment, right?!?). =P It's "double brewed" which gets more flavour back in the beer (normally, with N/A beers the alcohol and taste is boiled off). Better than 1st gen N/A beers like Molson Exel or O'Douls IMO. Also, at 45 calories a can it's a big difference from the Budweiser Prohibition Ale (120 calories) and pretty much same taste.

I wonder how it compares to the PC blond brew?

If Canada Post is delivering Pot, couldn't Amazon ship real beer?

I never understood non alcoholic beer. I hear people say it's for people who wanna "blend in" and look like they are drinking beer, but I can clearly see yours is different form everyone else's.

I delivered a 24 of some sort of canned product in an Amazon package today. I have no idea how Amazon can ship 20 pounds of liquid for free when you're only paying $20 for it. Shipping alone must cost that. Personally I don't think pressurized cans are quite ready for bulk postal freight yet, it was quite obvious at least one of the cans had been punctured.

For flavour and taste? Most adults no longer think or worry about blending in I imagine. I no longer drink but I still miss the taste. Think of it like decaf coffee.

It has been on sale $0.94/6pk at our local RCCS for at least two weeks. Got 6 x 6pk last week. Not sure if it's still on sale though.

$0.94/6pk? That seems quite low... maybe it's being delisted?

People drink it because they just like the taste of beer... and don't want the alcohol. I think the quality of alternative products has increased quite a bit... for example, gluten free beer quality has increased dramatically (in fact, you can add an enzyme to the brewed beer to effectively remove the gluten). I don't think non-alcoholic beer is there, but still... pretty amazing. I just wish they'd add more hops and maybe some body (although the Bud Prohibition has a bit more body).

I have no clue. I saw a huge pile of them near the front entrance the first week then the second week they moved the rest to the bulk item isle, trying to get more attention? I won't be getting any more because my husband won't try it, not even one.
