Good product, better get that one than the one from Costco. The Costco one is shiny and difficult to clean ;)

You can get all types of plates for these. I've got the stock ones, flat ones, waffle ones...

I just had turkey panni's made by this thing.
I loved using it both times last year

Where does the grease drain to? The front (lower) edge has a lip.

Type cuisinart plates and check out the model compatibility.

Saw this at a shoppers drug mart here as well. Would have bought it, but I can see my wife questioning why I would buy another appliance.

The average price for panini press seems to be around $40 to 60. How is this one better, than let's say: https://www.amazon.ca/Salton-SG1263-Sta ... 0095GOAUQ/

That was just an example, but there are plenty of others in that price range.

Had this for over 6 or 7 years and paid around 100$ for it back then. Works great. Easy to clean griddles, opens to 180 degrees . Often use the flat ones to make pancakes.

Is the flat plate just not the backside of the 'panini plate'. It says the plates are reversible and I can't imagine they'd sell it as a griddle but force you to buy a different set of plates to make that happen.
