[Amazon Canada] Amazon.ca - DEWALT 60V Max Brushless Chainsaw, with 3.0AH Battery

Hey all,

If anyone is looking for a cordless chainsaw (battery operation), it's time to get one as this bad boy seldom goes on sale ($499 at all times in most of the retailers)... amazon.ca is selling for $349 with a 3.0 60v battery and a charger.

Another reference for reviews:

Keep in mind, this is the 60v flexvolt (dewalt new series), the 60v battery is backward-compatible with other dewalt 20v devices.

(P.S.: i tried to PM with homedepot today, however, got denied by the cashier as she told me HD refused to PM with online retailers... it must be canadian chain retail stores in order to PM. I told her as i rmb HD will PRICE MATCH with online retailers but not PRICE BEAT 10% on top... anyways, i was rushing to somewhere else, so i just left at the end.. i would like to know if anyone knows if that's true or she just full of bs?). Thanks in advance.

what does that mean? Can the 60v battery be used with tools that use 20v? Can a 20v battery be used in this chainsaw?

yes. 60v battery can use with 20v tools, but 20v battery cannot be used on this chainsaw (as well as all the 60v tools).
Tri-platform compatibility; 20V max, 60V max, and 120V max
